B.Eng. in Software Convergence | GPA: 4.33 / 4.5 | Full Tuition Scholarship — 8 semestersKyung Hee University, South Korea · Expected Feb 2027

I am an undergraduate student at Kyung Hee University working on human motion, physics-based control, simulation, and related AI/graphics systems. My research includes first-author work on text-guided human-human interaction motion generation; ParTY (CVPR 2026), where I contributed to qualitative evaluation and motion visualization; CrossGaussian (UIST 2025 Adjunct / ISMAR 2025 Adjunct); and implementation work acknowledged in a CHI 2025 VR haptics study. I also built a MuJoCo pipeline for retargeting generated motion and comparing its physics-based tracking behavior against ground-truth motion.

Beyond research, I have about a year of industry experience in multi-user simulation and digital-twin software. My upstream correctness fixes have been merged into NVIDIA CCCL, CUTLASS, and Microsoft ONNX Runtime, and I previously built a backend-to-FPGA hardware-control pipeline during an internship in San Jose.

Experience

FunctionBay / MetaMotion X

Simulation / Digital Twin Developer

Pangyo Techno Valley, South Korea

FunctionBay division later became MetaMotion X, and the work continued on the same defense-linked Unity simulation project.

  • Developed and refactored core features in a large Unity-based simulation product, including replay, event logging, runtime UI, and data-export systems, with emphasis on maintainable integration into the existing codebase.
  • Worked across networked multi-client simulation, tracing DDS-based data flow and resolving synchronization, logging, file I/O, and runtime-state issues across multiple PCs.
  • Built simulation and visualization features in Unity and UE5, and handled technical specifications, integration testing, QA, bug reproduction, and fix verification through delivery.

M5ERS

Backend Intern

Remote & San Jose, CA, USA
  • Built a Node.js / Express backend for an FPGA-based mining-hardware prototype, structuring API logic around route, controller, and service layers.
  • Connected backend API calls to a C UART control process so server-side requests could trigger low-level hardware register read/write operations.
  • Implemented and tested the C-side command loop, including UART routing, command/response formatting, and backend-hardware integration debugging.

Republic of Korea Army

UNIX Server Operator

The 1st Logistic Support Command, South Korea
  • Operated UNIX servers for a military C4I intranet, handling security checks, log audits, backups, access control, and system troubleshooting.
  • Managed user-terminal access and help-desk requests across internal military units.
  • Supported routine network and infrastructure checks involving routers, switches, terminals, and internal systems under command procedures.
